Zoom function when using the mouse wheel is in reverse when i use X7.

Hi Hugh. Thank you so much. Yes I tried that, however it seems that the X7 default for zoom with the mouse wheel is that when you push the mouse wheel forward (away from you) the image gets smaller, when you roll the mouse wheel toward you it zooms in and makes the image bigger (ie brings the image closer to you). If one looks at it it makes total sense and appears to be correct. HOWEVER on X4 it worked the other way round ie opposite. I have become so used to it over the years that it is frustrating because it is instinctive ....I guess i will have to just get used to it. Once again many thanks for your recommendation it is much appreciated. If you have any ideas or there is anyone out there with a possible solution please let me know...I will be most grateful. The only other thing that I could think of, that would cause this problem, is if you are using a third party mouse driver, such as Logitec or a driver that came with a Microsoft Mouse, or some other such driver, instead of using the default Windows mouse driver that is part of the Windows O/S.

If that is so, un-install the third party driver and fall back to Windows default mouse driver and see if that cleans up the mouse action. (Or try a different hardware mouse.)

No same mouse...same computer... Dell mouse that came with the PC. With x4 it works one way and on X7 IT WORKS the other way round (opposite)..What version of Corel draw do you use? Quick question which way round does your mouse wheel work with the version of Corel draw you use? When you roll the wheel forward does the image get bigger or does it get smaller? As i said its the strangest thing that with the 2 different versions that with the same mouse and same set up, the wheel zooms are opposite.

Maybe you are right ...I will try with a completely different mouse on both programs and I will see then>
