How to use Visual Studio Tool?

Hi,

While installing CorelDRAW Graphics Suite, a component called "Visual Studio Tools for Applications" has been installed. I'm a programmer and I have Visual Studio 2013 Pro installed on my computer. I thought this component is going to add some extensions to VS, so I can use it to make plugins or other stuff for CorelDraw, but I cannot find anything related to CorelDraw in VS.

Does anyone know how can I use VS to develop stuff for CorelDRAW Graphics Suite?

Hi.
Installed with the suite should be CorelDRAW Graphics Suite Macro Programming Guide.
Don't know if it will be helpful but it may at least guide you in the right direction.
Should be in the Start Menu, under CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7 > Documentation.

Using your hint, I found some information on the help documentation, and I'm pasting it here for everyone to use:

* To use the VSTA Editor, you must have Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 installed.
* You can open the VSTA Editor from within CorelDRAW. To open the VSTA Editor, do any of the following:
* Click Tools > Macros > VSTA Editor on the main menu in the application.

There is one item missing from that information. For X7, you need a full version of visual studio 2012. Microsoft has deliberately locked out VS Express to prevent it working in VSTA.
