Custom PDF settings missing from X7 Academic Version?

I just installed X7 for my son who is in high school and the custom PDF settings within CorelDraw (such as compression levels and font embedding) are missing. I can only choose the predesignated pdf export options. They have been present in every edition from version 3 (which was my first) to X3...the last I purchased prior to X7.

Are you sure its the Academic Version that he is using, and not Home and Student?

I think the academic version can only be bought by schools and colleges, not by individuals, and is a licence to use the full version at a special bulk price. But the Home and Student is a restricted version at a very reduced price, for people who don't need advanced features.

Although H&S will not create new presets, maybe if you create a preset using a full version X7 and place it in the corresponding folder on the H&S machine, it will find it and use it.

What Harry said....the Academic version has very few differences from the full version...Home & Student has many things removed, PDF settings being one of them.
