Older files black inverts to white. Now with X7 my black inverts to gray. Is there a default setting somewhere please?

Hello HevK; What ver. are you trying to open, and you are playing with CDR files right?

if it's vector or if it's grayscale, the invert works fine under CorelDRAW X7.
If you try to invert a CMYK or RGB color image, the black doesn't invert as white (the color black C:0 M:0 Y:0 K:100 invert as C:100 M:100 Y:100 K:0

Hi Nev,

It looks like you have uncovered an old bug. I have the same problem in DRAW X6.

It's behavior is not quite the same as Ariel stated for X7, but it's rather bad anyhow.

Here's what I get by inverting black in X6 and the inverting again. I guess nobody used Invert before.

Hi Nev,
It looks like it's broken in Photopaint X6 as well.
The numbers invert but you still get black. It looks like the programmer did not understand that CMYK is subtractive color.
(0, 0, 0, 100) inverted to (100, 100, 100, 0).
That's still black even though the numbers inverted.
At least, I can understand how this happened.

COREL 7. I am inverting text. For example if the text is black it inverts to grey. However if I use text created in Corel 13 it inverts to white!
