Bitmap won´t open in Photo Paint

Since I installed Win 10 and removed the system to a SSD bitmaps in Corel X7 won´t open with Photo Paint. Tried everything and no chance

If you have tried everything I assume you have also tried a Repair?
Start the setup program and choose the Repair option.

But you can open pp first then open any other image file?

Always the same problem. The only function that works is, that I can slide a image file from Corel Draw to Photo Paint on the second monitor and then back

Could it be lost file extension association?
