CorelCAD 2014 Feature Highlight no. 9: PDF export

Did you know that CorelCAD supports PDF output from both model space views and layout sheets?

With CorelCAD 2014, the PDF output feature has been further enhanced. You can now easily add document properties such as Author, keywords, title and subject.

Also new in CorelCAD 2014, you can now specify to maintain the layer structure of the DWG file in the PDF output. By default, "Use layers in PDF file" is turned on so that the resulting PDF will provide access to the content by layer and you can turn on/ off visibility of specific layers when viewing the published PDF.

Select "Model" in the sheet list for publishing the active model viewport with its current view and settings. Hidden line view mode (hidden lines suppressed) is supported as well as shaded view modes.

Shaded views will be published as bitmaps. You can specify the resolution of the renderings to suit your needs (i.e. set to 300dpi for printable PDF).

A great way to share your designs with customers - allowing to view and print sheets and model views just as you want to show it.
