Update:

The September Hotfix Update 1 has been released to fix the below issues. Thank you for your patience.

-----------

We have identified the below issues in CorelDRAW 2024 and are working on a fix to address these problems.

Thanks to the customers who have reached out to Customer Support to flag those issues!

  1. A CorelDRAW design template (.CDRT) file accessed from the “Local Templates” tab in the “New From Template” dialog may be deleted from the local folder on the device after being selected to create a new document. To work around this issue and use the same template file again, you may need to download the Template pack again. Subscribers of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite can access the templates through the “Corel online templates” tab in the “New from Template” dialog to not run into this issue.
  2. In CorelDRAW 2024 on macOS, file associations for .CDR files are not working.
  3. On older Windows PCs without AVX support, CorelDRAW may show a Crash Report message on each application startup. This is due to a module not supported on this hardware generating a problem when the application was previously closed. You can ignore this Crash Report message, however, the warning message about “Insufficient hardware” is still applicable, as the device doesn’t meet the system requirements to use the application with all its functionality.
