We are always interested in learning about what you do and how you use CorelDRAW. I therefore wanted to make a public call for feedback to the community, and ask if you could send me an email (the best for this will be coreldraw @ corel . com) answering following question. It would be fantastic if you can also include some sample files.

  • Tell us a bit about your work - company, customers, etc.
  • How long have you been using CorelDRAW Graphics Suite?
  • How has CorelDRAW / Corel PHOTO-PAINT impacted your work?
  • Why did you choose CorelDRAW / Corel PHOTO-PAINT over other available solutions?
  • What is the feature you use most?
  • What's coming up next for you?

Thank you in advance for your emails.

  • Dear sirs! Excuse me for my bad English.

    1. Working with  CorelDRAW Graphics Suite is my hobby. Basicaly I draw to enjoy myself, but sometimes, not very often, I work for clients.

    2. I began to work with CorelDRAW Graphics Suite since 11 release. It was exact moment when I bought my first computer. As  I was fond of drawing since my childhood I started to use two programs for vector graphics.  Soon I prefered  CorelDRAW to any other programs.

    3. I like CorelDRAW for it's clearly understandable multidocument interface and little number of custom settings to get started.

    4. I really on seven sky when working with CorelDRAW Graphics Suite, especialy after understanding  of program's instruments  fine tunning and using them. Now I have knowledge and can master rather complicated objects. The program makes it possible for me, while getting new skills, to incarnate more interesting ideas.

          • My name is Jack and I have been working with a high-end trophy shop in the Pacific Northwest for the past 12-13 years.  I was introduced to CorelDRAW from day 1 ( with CorelDRAW version 5) and have tried to learn as much as I can from the trials and errors of attempts to see what the program could do.  I am the laser-engraver and work in many mediums -- from enamel-coated metals, lucite acrylics, glass (sandblasting), plastics and phenolics, and rubber (for  stamps).  I now use CorelDRAW 7, 11 and X4 (this with PP included) -- version 11 being the most-often used.  I also have Adobe Illustrator CS and Paint Shop Pro 6, but keep coming back to CorelDRAW because of its easy-to-use methods of design.  I mainly use the program for its variety of text and ease of creating layouts.  I have been slowly becoming confortable to do stuff on my own -- see my gallery for some designs I have put together that were not work related -- and just keep on coming to the forums to learn more.

I hope to be able to learn, as easily as I did with DRAW, to use PhotoPaint in other projects.

Yours, Graewerld (there is a story behind that name as well).
