I wanted to give you all a little heads-up that Corel will be releasing the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6.2 Hotfix 1 later this week to address the key issues reported since the X6.2 update was release a few weeks back. Hotfix 1 will correct following problems:

• Drawing scale is missing from the custom commands (Tools > Options > Customization > Commands).
• Embedded color profiles are not recognized when importing bitmaps that were created in CorelDRAW.
• CorelDRAW stops responding when opening files that were created in CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6.1 and contain formatted text.
• Exporting a CorelDRAW (CDR) file to the Adobe Photoshop (PSD) file format produces an error message.
• In addition, you can now choose to delete and recreate the font catalog in Font Navigator so that you can see italic fonts.

The other problem that has been reported recently is regarding font since the recent Microsoft update known as KB2753842. We are working closely with Microsoft to get this resolved as quickly as possible.
