As mentioned in my previous post, CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6.1 has been certified for Windows 8 (as a desktop app) so that your favourite suite of graphics applications not only works on your operating system today (XP, Vista or Win7), but also to be ready if and when you will upgrade your computer and/or OS. And for those with a touch-enabled screen, CorelDRAW X6.1 will react to pinch-to-zoom, two finger panning, … plus the smart drawing tools will work really great on your device. Just remember that you can increase the size of the icons in the UI to make it easier to use fingers.

Windows 8 certification was the first step towards being compatible with Windows 8. With X6.2, which is on track to be available before the end of 2012, CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6 will include a cleaner look that will work great with the new Windows 8 desktop UI.
