Today we proudly present a new product at Corel: CorelDRAW® Technical Suite X6

The new version of what has been previously known as Corel DESIGNER® Technical Suite combines the technical drawing tools of the Corel DESIGNER application with the graphic design power of CorelDRAW to give you a complete visual communication solution.

In addition to the full CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6 that is included with CorelDRAW Technical Suite, you will find Corel DESIGNER X6 as the technical illustration application and a whole new technology integrated with XVL Studio 3D Corel Edition.

Corel DESIGNER X6 provides dedicated technical drawing tools such as projected drawing capabilities, advanced dimensioning tools, callout drawing tools with halos, vector hatch fills and many more technical illustration features.
There is a lot of new tools and enhancements in Corel DESIGNER X6. Here's some highlights:

• New projected shape tools for drawing threads, wells, cylinders and prism in projected drawing planes 
• New projected dimensioning tools to capture and illustrate measurements accurately in projected space
• New sticky callouts and dynamic callout text: leader lines keeping a link to their source graphical object, and callout text sourced from object metadata being dynamically linked to the source object 

We're excited to present the next level of integrated 3D visualization authoring with CorelDRAW Technical Suite X6. In cooperation with our new technology partner Lattice Technology we're integrating XVL® technology to deliver efficient 3D visualization capabilities - fully integrated in the technical illustration workflow!

XVL Studio 3D Corel Edition is an integrated application in CorelDRAW Technical Suite X6 that enables 3D import and provides essential 3D visualization tools for creating high-quality technical illustrations and renderings.
With "Send to Corel DESIGNER" and "Send to Corel® PHOTO-PAINT™" functionality, the new 3D visualization tool provides a direct link to repurposing 3D models as vector illustrations or as photo-realistic renderings for presentation graphics and complementary tasks.

The integration of Lattice XVL technology also empowers a unique new feature in CorelDRAW Technical Suite X6: You can now insert 3D models as XVL files directly into illustrations in Corel DESIGNER X6.
Access the embedded 3D model at any time for changing the view, displaying a cross-section or modify the display settings of the 3D view - all directly within your illustration file!

A whole new Object and Color Styles engine that is known from CorelDRAW X6 has been enhanced for supporting consistency in technical visualizations including specific technical drawing components such as callouts, dimensions and halos.

CorelDRAW Technical Suite X6 applications are available as native 64-bit applications so you can fully leverage the power of your Windows 8 or Windows 7 64-bit PC, incl. enhanced multi-core processor support.

CorelDRAW Technical Suite X6 includes the latest version of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6 with all its components.
