If you are looking for realism, you have to use the tool blend, for example, just like you have done in your first drawing, the bicycle.
In the first drawing, you have used much more tools than in this drawing, so it seems to have be done for diferent people. So to be realistic, you have to use the same tools you have used in the bike.
