Here is a fictional
product which hopes to cash in on the diet craze. CorelDRAW is so much
fun to work with, one can create rediculous product packaging for their
own amusement. Some noteworthy things:
1. I often contour a shape like the main lettering, separate, then put
a subtle shadow on the smaller piece, like the main yellow text in this
case. I added another shadow to the blue below it.
2. The background intestines were made from a draw texture fill called
"liver". The graduated hues were made by putting a different layer
above in Hue merge mode.
3. The worm was a simple hand-drawn line that was extruded. Then
lighting effects were added in the extrusion parameters. Then a shadow.
Ok, maybe it's not what a tapeworm looks like, believe me - I'm
guessing.
I hesitated at first with this one... thinking
"this is wierd, somewhat tasteless, and likely to offend someone,
somewhere." But Gary Larson of the "Far Side" cartoon strip would
surely approve. Since he got away with this stuff for a whole career, I
can try one pic. :-)
Oohhhh, Hendrik informed me that this is a real plan!
