Option on the Lincoln Plaza sign display, 3d models not made on corel.
Damn I love finding art good enough to emulate...! Great work Jim.
thank you sir, I try my best to bring my clients the best sign designs..I get to work with some great people ..
I gotta ask Jim... How did you achieve the 2 'grey' renderings on the left margin...?
I'm constantly disappointed at the lack of dimensionalism in orthographic projection elevations.
I dislike the cartoon look that most sign guys have with their layout, keep the look clean and not so much going on in the background..It takes away from the design..
I'm with ya on that front Jim...! Did you do the scaled elevation in SketchUp too? And then use that to create the 3D renderings?
$800+ isn't a good thing, but I may be able to justify it with examples like your work,,,
tetrodesign do you use SketchUp at all...? (And how have you been my friend?)
Us the free copy of sketchup..
Hi Guys! Been OK lately...Have a minor health issue but I won't blabber about it here.Yup! I still do EVERYTHING with Corel. I took a small look at Sketchup. Even though it's fast, effective and gives a great idea about the dimensions for clients, I don't like the feeling the illustrations have with the strokes. I'd like to have a more realistic look. I don't know if there are plug ins or other linkable programs so the rendered images could look more clean and real say like. 3D Studio...Trouble is, I have too much work for me to stop and learn new software!
sorry about you health bro..yes there are plugins for rendering images..that what i don't like ..so tend not to do all that..sometime yes o a high-end job..I will us Solidworks for those jobs
