I deleted the individual pics of the ships and combined them here with other ships I drew.

Hi Ken - I believe you are referring to the facility in Corel called 'Scale with image' found in the 'Outline Pen' dialogue box.
At the bottom of the window below 'Behind Fill' and above the 'Cancel' button you will see 'Scale with image' - just tick the box and as you enlarge or shrink your images, the outline will scale acccodingly.
I believe by default it is off i.e. un-ticked, so unless you 'tick the box' it won't happen.
