Gradient Fills
BMP's
Transparency
Thanks Scott
Nicely done.
What program are you using?
Basically in this drawing the white highlights were drawn as vector shape, using CorelDraw I then converted this shape to a BMP and then blurred, then cut the shape using the shape tool. Then add Transparency

HI, why bmp it's such a large format why not jpeg? or better yet just go to cpt and when you're ready, combine them all and save as jpeg, no? But this simple coloration is what I am using already. I guess what I have to do is parcel out a section shape it and fit it onto the body. The problem is I don't have a model to work from because its my own design, so that determining what the reflections on the paint will twist and turn to according to the shape of the body is taking a good deal of thinking.
Depends on how I feel this time the highlights are all white vectors changed to BMP then cut to size then add transparency
I was wondering what kind of flare you would put on my car. I have been trying to think in terms of the highlights that you add, so that I can apply them to my car design. Like ripples in the paint for instance.
A great illustration very funny
