I did this piece a few years ago. I really like Jodie Foster as an actress and when I saw that photo of her in a German magazine, I thought it might be a good opportunity to pay her a little tribute ;-) and to practice drawing hair, which was quite a challenge.
To this point I always worked with Corel Photopaint 8. Then I had the occasion to check Photoshop for a few weeks. So I started this drawing with Photoshop, but I soon got frustrated with that programme. I turned back very soon to Photopaint and finished this work with it. And I never tried that again. :D
