Just wondering if the web app is a full functioning CorelDraw program with all features.
And does it work well?
That sounds awesome!
Thanks!
joan
No it is not and far from it
It is more like a "viewer" where you can open CDR files, add objects and save, but you can not edit any of the original content. The app is built on Gravit Designer and doesn't have all CorelDraw features, but on the other hand it has other nice features, like edge feathering for example.
Corel have said, media anyway ha said, reviewing the suite, that the App as it stands right now, isnt fully as it is supposed to be, but will work better with future pdates. There will also, as I have read, be released a CorelDRAW.App PRO version. And that will apparently add more functionality. SO stay tuned for more information from Corel and other users on this topic.
You can see the mentioning of the CorelDRAW.App PRO in the fourth paragraph in this article from CNET.com www.cnet.com/.../
Interesting read HTML5 is so powerful and you can do so much with it but in the development arena it is often difficult as much of it can be uncharted waters. We have spent 5 years developing an web image processing platform. We more hit hard spots then I can count. But we have arrived finally. We can process at lightening speed via a web broswer and do amazing processing. So Iam sure in time much can be develped by Corel. And that can then work on any device or platform.
