What has happend to PowerTrace? Its getting redicoulus slow to trace anything now. In 2019 versjon it was verry accurate and fast. Now it takes forever to trace any image that is a bit large. and many times it dosent even trace what is on the image(usulay a logo). parts of the logo is gone. It can be from big chunks of graphics to smaler tings like just one letter missing from a word.
But why are thise settings removed? It worked fine the way it was before. But I see now estimated time is all the way up to an hour. Its realy anoying that they do this tings to the program that was working just fine.
Because there was huge demand from users to remove the limit to bitmap size. If you want it to be quicker downsize your bitmap in PP before tracing.
Your RAM amount of usage may be forcing you into swop disk, this might be causing corruption. Windows uses 2 GB leaving 14 GB. If you have othe apps running. 16GB of RAM is lite today, my last system used 32 my current uses 64. My tests show a very modest improvement from 32 to 64 but a significant improvement from 16 to 32.
Is your system a laptop?
No. Its a desktop computer. A Lenovo ThinkStation.Does Graphics card do any improvemt on the systems? on our last computer we had Nvidia Quadro cards. On this computer we just have the onborad gfx from Intel (630). If this is somthing that makes a realy big boos to, what gfx is to be considered?
The computers we have now is brand new, so we should just use them with no extra ram og gfx to see how it did. And up until now it has been fine. only to stop with this Power Trace problem.
Check to make sure that "Photorealistic" or "Illustration" isn't selected on the "Adjustments" tab, like I mentioned earlier. These two may improve the traced result but the time difference is huge.
Yes I have tried with and without those settings, but somhow this one image of a logo comes out with many objects missing.

Forgive me but I fail to understand why you would be tracing that image. To me thats an utterly pointless exercise. Find out what the font is, draw two lines one blue one red, job done.
I know. Usualy I dont trace images like this, but draw them from scratch with the right fonts. It was just to check the tracing. When I did that i saw that many of the object was missing. Have seen this on other images also. This image was large so it suited my testing. Anyway it shold not be verry hard for the tracing to do. But it somhow is. And the resoult is as shown abowe.
