I'm trying to create a mask from the Black channel of CMYK image.
The main color is a 0/0/0/100 so I expect the black percentage of the Black channel to be 100%.
And it is not. It is 92%.
Why is it so ?
Can you send me another copy of this file with the profile embedded this time please?
I don't use Macros, so I do not know try it without using a macro.
Try Mek's suggestion, lvr123.I'm pretty sure that will make the black 100% gray.
Ticking "Preserve Pure Black" was the solution. Thanks to all for your time.
I looked at his file and the functions are correct. The action he's taking is not one that would or should induce a color conversion. While clicking this check box resolves this issue for this file there is something else that's incorrect with Draw internally, be it a corruption, a setting and if memory serves there was a past issue with default printer drivers.
In any case this setting can and will seriously create very poor conversions in many images.
