HOW TO CREATE A MACRO ON AUTO TRIMING TRANSPARENT (PNG) IMAGE

In photoshop i have remove the background and imported in Coreldraw.

As seen above the image and the excess part. How to trim the excess part with macro. Any suggestion or help. Thanks

  • Why not finish the process in Photoshop?

Under the Image menu there is a command called Trim. That should do it.

    • Why are Corel users so hyped to use Photoshop?

The example shown can be achieved in Photo-PAINT with a smart selection mask in a very short time.

Then there's no need to be concerned that Adobe is accessing your system and material.

      • It's not about hype... The OP clearly stated that he created the file in Photoshop. He might as well have completed the trimming in Photoshop before importing it into Coreldraw. There's nothing wrong with doing that. Maybe OP is more familiar and comfortable with Photoshop than Photopaint.

Vitriolic attacks on Adobe products will not change the fact that they are an accepted standard. It is to one's advantage to learn multiple and diverse applications.Who says you can only achieve great results by sticking with Corel or Adobe? I use Coreldraw, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Affinity products to achieve my desired results. I have never used Photopaint before and there's no shame in that since I know of busloads of brilliant designers who swear by Photoshop not Photopaint. I am talking of designers who also swear by Coreldraw. To these guys, Photoshop is an indispensable tool. So, I am in good company.

I would encourage people to learn different programs as much as they can. If one has the capacity to do so, why not. Adobe or Corel are not the Alpha and Omega of Graphic design software. Usage of diverse applications should not be criminalized since we don't get paid by Alludo or Adobe to use their software. We actually pay them to use their software, so there's no contractual obligation that states that I cannot use software from other companies.

It is said you are condemned to lose so much when blinded by prejudice.

        • I use 4 different programs for image edits, 3 of them are Corel products.  People need to understand what Adobe is doing to them with their new terms of service agreement, they access your files and use them as they want.

I still have some security clients I cannot use Adobe products as I'm forbidden to share any aspect of their material by agreement.

Something as simple as this project has zero needs for Adobe or a macro.
