Hi! To use the Boundary tools, to make objects connected outside a circle works fine. But when I want to make objects inside a circle, it does not work. No matter what i try, it does not workHas anybody a solution to this, or is it simply not possible?
Regards ;-)
use the Trim command, see attached.
Thanks Chris. Yes, I know about the Trim possibility. But I make Gera Wheels, in many variations (Gear wheels for Watches), and in such cases, it's also not useful, as it simply takes too long time to use, with many objects.

Hi Mek! Thanks for the example. But in reality, your example is just objects outside a circle, which I already use (just in a more simple way to do it).
Can we see a sample cdr file? (saved as ver. 2019).
Example of what?
Here and now, I just continue as I have done all the time, and for the inside circle objects, I will try other ways around.
File with gear wheel.
...As I wrote in reply to Ronny A. I make hundreds of different objects, and many of these, are combined with Gear wheels. And in watches, Gear wheels can have many-many ways to be constructed.
So to give examples, I don't think it gives any meaning.
So you ask for help but don't give the people willing to help enough information to provide help. Give them an example and maybe you'll learn something, what is there to lose?
I think you should see it in another way around, and out from what I did start my opening question with.
My problem situation, was related to the thought about, to could use the Boundary tools to remove objects inside a circle, as all gear wheels has base from acircle.
And I can see from the answers, that it's not an option. And out from this, I just have to find alternatives.
But the suggested answers do not help me further (except I will try to use the Trim tool, more).
This to make gear wheels, are more complex, than just remove and object from a circle, as I gave as example. A clock's accuracy, depends of the refinement of the gear wheels, and how precisely they run to each others teets.
So to ask me to give example of a Gear wheel, I do not see the effect of, as there are so many types, all different. Maybe it sounds "brutal" in your's and Mek's ears, but that's my reality.
Your problem is that you've not allowed the many multidecade critical CorelDRAW thinkers a chance to help you. All they ask for is a visual aid. If the see even 9ne of the intended results you may be surprised at the solution of the last 3 decades I have often been surprised.
The old saying a picture is worth a thousand words. Even better since your words have been nearly useless.
...well, I don't think it's a problem for me. Once again, I can say, that to give an example, other than this I have given, will not make sense (to me), as what example should I give? There are so many variations of what I'm doing with Gear wheels. So that's in short the reason.I'm not unpolited, or anything in that direction, but just trying to tell from my situation. That you maybe can't see it, or want to see it, in that way, I cannot change. So don't put it in a way, that I don't give "Coreldraw thinkers a chance to help".
