I have recently been viewing to a You Tube video entitled "The Power Behind CorelDraw Graphics Suite 2021, in an attempt to learn things about this program.
This video describes the use of a feature called "Variable Fonts".
I cannot seem to get this feature to work, the AA menu option in the text toolbar appears yet not activated.
Tried at least 30 different fonts in the menu and none of them seems to activate this feature.
The thought occurred to me this feature might be something that will only work with some special group of fonts you have to buy as an add on feature?
Another thought is that this feature may only be available in the subscription version of Corel Draw Graphics Suite 2021, I have the one time purchase version?
If none of my thoughts mentioned above is not the reason for this feature not working is there something in settings that needs to be selected to get this activated?
Last but not least, is this simply a bug or problem with the software not working properly?
It's not something you turn on, you must first install a variable font. Draw will then respond to it within its capabilities.

I have a lot of VF on pc, but not all works, i don't know why. I use Static Fonts and the problem is solved.drive.google.com/.../view
I'm not sure about CorelDRAW support for variable fonts. I'd have to sit side by side with an Adobe system and use the same variable font to test it and it's just has zero value for me and I just won'tinvest the time/money.
I have discussed with users that see different capabilities in Draw then they see with other applications.
According to the You Tube Video I mentioned above this feature is suppose to provide options for font settings that are easy to access when clicking on that AA symbol next to your font menu located just right of the font size menu option. According to this video not every font variable menu option is available for every font yet at least one is available for most fonts. I cannot get this option to appear in dark black which would be an indication that the option is available as a feature, instead it stays greyed out and nothing happens when you hover your mouse over this option.
That menu only works for variable fonts. I have no idea how many variable fonts install from CorelDRAW downloads.
