I have done a job twice now and saved it to my memory stick the second time luckily as it didn't save in Coreldraw again. I would've lost hours of work. What has happened, is it something i've unwittingly altered. I need it fixed please.
Not sure what I'm supposed to see, pkg_sriram.If I download and open your file, I can see a white rectangle that is an empty powerclip container, and it looks the same as the thumbnail preview. Is there supposed to be anything more?If I create a powerclip and then save while editing the objects inside the clip, the file is properly saved and looks exactly as expected when reopened.
One thing that puzzles me is that if I open your file, move the object slightly and then save, the file size drops from 1.97 MB to only 14.6 kB.Your file seems to contain 4 objects (according to the file's information) but I can only see the empty powerclip rectangle. So you are probably correct about missing objects, the question is how you managed to make it happen?
There is an image inside the powerclip that'swhy it is 1.97mb. it got that size when i used the command save.. while i was in powerclip mode. i will show the video file.
check 2 things.
1) put something inside the powerclip and comeoutside of the powerclip and save.... this is okay. No issue.
2) if you are in powerclipmode and used the command save.... here comes the problem.. in the coreldraw the save command grayed out and seemed save. you open the file location and check... then you will see the crossed line of that powerclip. if you close the file.. finish... you lost but it remains the file size as per the content in the powerclip.
Hope you understand. I will try to show you a video file. but how, i could not find any recording software here in office
Tried again, this time with a powerclipped bitmap, but it is working just as expected.I even tried with both embedded and linked bitmaps without any problem.
