Exceeded Maximum Number of Activations

I have been using Windows 10 Inside Preview and rebuilding my system with every new build made available. AND happily install CorelDraw X7. UNTIL yesterday when I get the message "this serial number has been used too many times to activate."

Reading through some of the forums I should have uninstalled the CDX7 before rebuilding my PCs and hence reducing the number of Activations.

I am only using the s/w on one desktop PC.

There must be a way to deactivate all old versions so that I install it again and Activate - similar to the way iTunes does it.

Please help - I have 29 days to go!

Hello Trolley; Try Going to support they have a live chat. You can get there at Corel.com. Ask them to get rid of some of the installs you have, and See what they can do for you..... Good Luck......( I have never had a problem installing on the same computer. )

Hi Trolley,
I can't help with your present problem. However, for the future:
1. You have to log into your account before uninstalling CDGS in order to avoid creating additional installations.
2. You can duck the problem by making an IMAGE of the contents of your C drive on an external hard drive. (I use Macrium based on a recommendation in the PSP newsgroup.) The entire contents of the C drive then travels with the external hard drive. However, the scheme fails if you want to change the operating system.

You can contact with Corel Support and explain your issue, in order to reset the activations,
In order to prevent the same problem on the future, remember to uninstall the program and then install again. If you didn't uninstall the program, you have a max of 5 installations. And you should be connected (sign up with your user name) on both install and uninstall-

Hi Ariel,
You forgot to mention.
1. You must be logged in to your account before you uninstall CDGS.
2. I had to buy tech support in order to get installations straightened out.
3. This is all Corel Support will do.

4. What do you mean by "connected". Connected to what. Sign up where and how.
4. There is absolutely nothing on the Corel site which explains uninstalls.
5. There is absolutely nothing on the Corel site which explains "accounts". I never even knew that I had an "account" with Corel. The word "account" does not appear anywhere on the site.
6. Where did you get that 5 installs are allowed. Everybody else says that it is 3 in the USA. No. I'm not going to read the contract. Did you read it.
