trace in the highest possible accurancy

Being new in Corel Trace, I am searching for the parameters to convert this image to a vector graphic.

Especially the barn and the cows cause problems. Horizontal and vertical bars, head of the cows

  • Should I pre-prepare the picture prio to the trace Process?
  • Which settings should be used?

Thanks and have a nice day

Bruno

  • Try a few different programs. What I've found is that it's surprising how one will do better with certain types of images. The 3 I try regularly when I need to vectorize something are Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, and Serif DrawPlus. Each seems to have some kind of odd strength. Illustrator is the best and fastest overall, but it struggles with very fine points. Serif DrawPlus does wonderful on those same fine points, but has the wackiest settings. CorelDraw might be the best for text. This is what I've found with my own experimenting. I used to use Illustrator for everything but now I know that some of the other programs might give an even better result.
