Urgent matter with Corel X7!!
use mesh fill tool then clear it back...
I ran into the same problem. I was not able to figure out how to convert the enveloped object to curves, as it was grayed out. However, when I selected the object and clicked Boundary [Object, Shaping, Boundary], the object retained the envelope, but eliminated the red envelope editing lines and allowed me edit nodes again with the shape tool. Hope this helps.
Chad
Yes, It really helps. Someone has come up with using the mesh tool and then clear it out.
Here is a message and a list of items I addressed to the Corel software team and training instructors but they keep canceling me out after I paid the annual fee $100.00 for support. I am not getting any answers to these software request's. I would not recommend paying them for this support fee ever. They would not even give me a courtesy call!

I used the mesh tool but how do you clear it back?
Can you list the operation in sequence?
Thanks,

on a enveloped object, select mesh fill tool (you may see clear/remove mesh is grayed out)
just add a grid or row (either vertical or horizontal)
then you can click the clear/ remove button
PS : it's work on perspective object too..
