Hello guys...
Ive got an very bad problem when trying to convert text to curves in corel X7 64bit.
Does not matter what kind of text or font... whenever there's a word with color in it and the rest of the text black, convert it to curves and it removes all the color (it makes for instance the red text black).
Tried it with the basic text and the textframes... both the same result.
2 other computer wich i made an fresh install had the same problem!
When publishing to PDF the same happens.
The biggest problem is that all the prepress we make must have text as curves wich has allready gone wrong for 2 times and we needed to order the job again. It costs a los of money and time this way to do the job right.
Do more people have this problem and/or tackled it?
Hello ddehaan; I'm not seeing your problem. the screen shot below has 3 lines of text with colored words the top line is still text the second line is converted to curves and was exported as a PDF file the third line is the imported PDF. So it maybe best to post a file you are have trouble with.

My experience is exactly the same as ddehanns. The issue has been reported to Corel.

I know that the convert to curves issue has been reported by several people.
I'm not aware of anybody who has reported a similar issue for publish to PDF so if anybody thinks they have that problem, please give an example.
That looks like an old problem in bitstream font navigator that was fixed a long time ago.
What version shows in help > about CorelDraw and have you installed or repaired any older versions since installing X7?
