It was not necessary to wait centuries... in a few years everyone had better phones than the used by Captain Kirk and Spock.
Haha. Love Star Trek. And don't forget the beaming!
Many other Corel programs have a Mac version, even this forum has ONLY a Apple version. I think it is the VBA Visual Studio that prevents the CorelDraw from having a Mac version. With another automation system or none at all, should surely be doable pretty easily. I'm not sure though what kind of deal Microsoft and Corel struck. It's fun for us to guess around, Corel isn't telling

On that note;
"I think there is a world market for maybe five computers." -- Thomas Watson (1874-1956), Chairman of IBM, 1943 "Who the h*** wants to hear actors talk?" -- H. M. Warner (1881-1958), founder of Warner Brothers, in 1927 "Heavier-than-air flying machines are impossible." -- Lord Kelvin, President, Royal Society, 1895 "Everything that can be invented has been invented." -- Charles H. Duell, Commissioner, U.S. Office of Patents, 1899 "Inventions reached their limit long ago, and I see no hope for further development." -- Julius Frontinus, 1st century A.D. "There is no reason anyone would want a computer in their home." -- Ken Olson, president, chairman and founder of Digital Equipment Corp., 1977 "This 'telephone' has too many shortcomings to be seriously considered as a means of communication. The device is inherently of no value to us." -- Western Union internal memo, 1876.
In short, "never" is a very long time indeed.
