Hi, I am confused with Corel's conditions and I would like some clarification.
I have CorelDRAW X3 clip-arts and I have downloaded Drawings demo to do some embroidery on my wife's (Brother PR620)
Can I use the clip art images as a starting point and modify them so it can be used to be embroidered??

I haven't used any of the Corel supplied clipart for embroidery designs.
Mainly because I haven't, yet, found one worth the effort to convert to an embroidery file and stitch out.
Used a few for screen printing, brochures, DTG etc.
Mostly the client supplies the art for the embroidery work.
The limitations on usage are not unexpected, as there are similar restrictions on many embroidery stock design collections.
In that you can add lettering and stitch them out, but you can't convert them to vector or any other format and print them on anything.
All Corel products come with an End User License Agreement (EULA) that, as a user, you have to confirm on installation/ first use of the product.
Take a look at §2 of that EULA which contains the "COREL GUIDELINES FOR THE USE OF CLIPART".
At the top of that section you can read this: [..] As a user of Corel products you are free to Use, modify and publish the Images or Clips, Fonts, or Sample Content as you wish subject to the restrictions set out below. If you are uncertain as to whether your intended Use is in compliance with the Guidelines set out below, Corel recommends that you seek the advice of your own attorney or legal counsel. Corel will not provide you with an opinion as to whether your Use is in compliance with these Guidelines.

Thank for your input, I guess most of us don't fully check the EULA because is too long and we fail to notice the good and the bad. Some of us are custom (bad habit) to just click install, next, next, next......
