Hi - our company is stuck with CD 12 because of budget cuts. So does anyone have an idea which format is the best to use when converting MS Powerpoint files to Corel CD 12. The main concern is to maintain the edibility of the line art without much distortion for later use. I have tried EMF with some success but not really happy with it. Maybe EPS? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks, jim
Have you tried importing the file directly into Draw?
I get this error message:
Hello Jim; It could be the Powerpoint file is newer than the ver. 12 will open, you may want to try back saving the Powerpoint file to a older ver.

Thanks George, I did downsave the ppt file and it did open in CD 12 but it came out distorted as you can see below: with shapes blown up and cut off. I know the it cannot be a 100% success rate but not like this.
Jim that looks like you have some open nodes on the dark blue, In Corel try braking everything apart, select the dark blue that you are having the problem with and use theShape tool and find the open nodes and close them.
