Hi all
Can anyone help me with this problem please? I've upgraded to CorelDraw X6 but I need the files I make to be openable in Coreldraw 10. When saving I use the drop down box and choose the option for 10 and if they are opened again in X6 before they are opened in 10 they are fine, but when these files are opened in 10 they crash and the file gets wiped (when opened again it's just a blank page).
Is there something I am missing? A not so obvious box that needs ticking? An option I have missed somewhere?
Is it because the version i have is 64bit? Or is it just not possible to downsave files properly anymore, is 10 just too old now?
Any ideas?
Thanks
Hello Lewis; Ver. 10 is VERY old, there is nothing that ver. 10 can do that X6 doesn't do better. And I think X6 is the best Corel out of the box in a long time. Just use X6 to do everything in. Scanning is a problem right now so you can us 10 for that or down load the bolt on for X6 to do that to.
My Thoughts George

I'm not paying the bills so I can't force everyone to upgrade unfortunately. I make the bulk of the plans the rest of the company views, makes edits and prints from them, if I'm really stuck for time they take these plans further to make new ones. Not a lot of help if they are wiping files just by opening them :(
