CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6 x6 is very dead slow when you select the file in the open drawing dialog box

When you try to open the file using the open command

and you select any file the preview comes to appear after

many minutes and even in opening time is considerably

much time. Any solution for this ?

I have the same issue. Has anyone solved it.

Do you have a network printer? Some printers do not respond promptly in error conditions (eg paper out) and this seems to be worse when the printer is on a network.

A quick way to test for this possibility is to go to windows devices and printers and configure a local printer as your default printer -- or, if you do not have a local printer, choose a PDF print driver (foxit, bullzip etc).

If that fixes the problem, look to see if there is a newer print driver which may have fixed the problem.
