For those of you that have CDGS X6 and X7 on the same computer...Is there a way that I can have the Edit Bitmap open in its corresponding Photo-Paint version?
I've tried running a repair on CDGSX6 and CDX6 will then open PPX6 when using Edit Bitmap. But then...when I use Edit Bitmap in CDX7 it opens PPX6. Okay, so I run a repair on CDGSX7...and I am back where I started -- PPX7 opens when I use Edit Bitmap in CDX6!
Is there anyway to fix this?
What I really wish...is that the programmers would fix this issue for future versions. Many users keep previous versions on the machines, right?

George, that doesn't work. It is something that is programmed into CorelDRAW that tells it to open Photo-Paint when you choose Edit Bitmap.
The problem is that if you keep older versions of CDGS, the Edit Bitmap link from CD to PP gets broken/overwritten with the newest version of CDGS. So if for instance, I have a bitmap I've imported into CDX6 and I select Edit Bitmap from the property bar (or context menu), it opens PPX7. Which is really bad...because you cannot Close, save & return to CDX6.

Thanks for the link, Ross. I looked at the macro, but it's seems more than I want. I agree with your other post that it's something that the programmers should include!
Where is wOxxOm when we need him? He created this for the same issue in X3/X4:
