Why does 100% cyan change to C95Y2 when i set it to SPOT?I need it to be 100% Cyan for contour cut.
It has something to do with color management.
Are you absolutely sure the color must be 100% cyan?Normally it is enough that it is a spot color named 'CutContour' (Roland) or similar, the actual color doesn't matter.
Creating a custom spot color requires some specific steps that in some cases fails, go to and download the custom color palettes there is a cut contour there, it's a black but works in the Roland SC 545 EX and the Mimaki CJV150-130 with raster link 6.6. Test it see if it works for you.
The reason for the change may be the series of steps you take, custom spot palettes work in X7 but the steps you follow are specific and not documented well that's why I suggested you try my CutContour palette, if it works then it's the process you used to create yours.
