Macro question

Thanks for the reply MEK! I ran that and it worked on text and combined objects but not on grouped objects. I made a few changes and added in the sizes I wanted for this particular drawing. It works fine, like yours, on combined and grouped objects but really goes haywire on any object group comprised of multiple objects. Any idea how to treat a grouped object as a single entity instead of its components? below is what I came up with:

to

Set sr = ActivePage.Shapes.All

Just one more adjustment and it will be perfect! It selects shapes on hidden layers, any way to only have it select on the active/visible layers?

Never mind... I found "ActiveLayer" and used it instead. Thanks again for your help!!!
