exporting - wants to replace the cdr.

if you export, the file extension should be different, unless you export or save as CDR.
When you go to File/Export, you should choose the file type (JPG, TIF, PDF, etc), It's not enough to type "file.jpg", if the selected filter was PDF it will be exported as PDF.

Hi There, I didn't explain completely. After I save a drawing, I go to export for example xxx.eps and select eps in file type, when I hit enter a message comes back asking if I want to replace xxx.cdr, if I inadvertently miss that, it saves an eps, but names it xxx.cdr. I've used CorelDraw for many, many years and have never had this problem, I've removed all the work-spaces and did a repair to restore the default, still no luck. Thanks for any suggestions.
