I have a new pc with window 10 and corel x7.
I have a problem with the fonts, which had never happened !!
If I open a document created a few days before it does not find the fonts even if they are installed !!
By checking bistream, the characters are installed but the preview is not visible.
So I have to uninstall and reinstall the font and everything is resolved.
I've been using this version for quite some time but it never happened to me !!
It's a serious problem because the characters are replaced without any warning !!
Can you help me ??
thanks for your help

This is CRAZY. I knew I shouldn't have updated my machines with this BS "Creator's" update... sure has broke the flow of "creating"!
Anyone know if it's caused this problem with Bitstream Font Navigator 17.6.0.1021 or if it's the native OS font system or what?
Seems I have to have FONT NAV re-find all the fonts, then reboot every time.
The screen redraw is also VERY ANNOYING and much slower also after this!!! Try grabbing (EDIT: a artistic TEXT object only), hold CTRL to copy, drag and let go to copy. entire screen refresh/flash LAG!
Thanks M$!!!!!!! But ticks me off even more, is Corel more than likely won't offer a update if it's required and M$ doesn't...I see a forced purchase upgrade to v2017...but I have other software and plugins that I do not want to have to also force and upgrade ($$$$) with Corel 2017 in order to work. Some plugins may not even work with 2017 at that!

With that said my systems run 24/7 until a Windows update requires a restart. So I my only restart once or twice a month but with sign projects drawing out over 3 to 6 months I'd notice a font failure. Are these systems Windows home systems? Or Windows Pro systems.
You're not seeing this problem because you obviously haven't rebooted your systems. Never understood why people leave there systems on 24/7 when not in use. (no need for an explanation)
FYI, PRO systems on a server domain.
