I have a new pc with window 10 and corel x7.
I have a problem with the fonts, which had never happened !!
If I open a document created a few days before it does not find the fonts even if they are installed !!
By checking bistream, the characters are installed but the preview is not visible.
So I have to uninstall and reinstall the font and everything is resolved.
I've been using this version for quite some time but it never happened to me !!
It's a serious problem because the characters are replaced without any warning !!
Can you help me ??
thanks for your help

This is CRAZY. I knew I shouldn't have updated my machines with this BS "Creator's" update... sure has broke the flow of "creating"!
Anyone know if it's caused this problem with Bitstream Font Navigator 17.6.0.1021 or if it's the native OS font system or what?
Seems I have to have FONT NAV re-find all the fonts, then reboot every time.
The screen redraw is also VERY ANNOYING and much slower also after this!!! Try grabbing (EDIT: a artistic TEXT object only), hold CTRL to copy, drag and let go to copy. entire screen refresh/flash LAG!
Thanks M$!!!!!!! But ticks me off even more, is Corel more than likely won't offer a update if it's required and M$ doesn't...I see a forced purchase upgrade to v2017...but I have other software and plugins that I do not want to have to also force and upgrade ($$$$) with Corel 2017 in order to work. Some plugins may not even work with 2017 at that!

With that said my systems run 24/7 until a Windows update requires a restart. So I my only restart once or twice a month but with sign projects drawing out over 3 to 6 months I'd notice a font failure. Are these systems Windows home systems? Or Windows Pro systems.
You're not seeing this problem because you obviously haven't rebooted your systems. Never understood why people leave there systems on 24/7 when not in use. (no need for an explanation)
FYI, PRO systems on a server domain.
Suku, Yes it is most definitely FONT MANAGER USERS, no matter if Bitstream Font Manager etc. It is something to do with the font shortcut links and the Creator's Update (and possibly the Windows OS font shortcut setting). Microsoft will just have to fix this..and FAST! Seems this has been known about for quite some time now since first on the scene....so get at it M$!!! So far, after every reboot, I loose my font links using Bitstream Font Manager. If I reboot TWICE, seems to work. Something with this font cache thing. Yes, I could manually copy fonts into the Windows/Fonts folder or install, but defeats the purpose of using the Font Manager. M$ will just need to fix their mistake.
EDIT! Still doesn't fix the new lag/slowness when COPYING only text elements though. (doesn't do this with other objects, just text ones) I didn't have this problem before the Creator's Update and it's driving me crazy as it has a overall slowness now! i.e. select only a artistic text object and hold down CTRL (if you CorelDraw is setup to use CTRL to copy using CTRL) and drag to copy. Display will do a entire redraw each time. On 4K displays this happens, may not happen on lower res displays...so I am sure many will say they don't have this problem, but I definitely do.
