The Selection Group feature is something that a lot of users have never heard about. It make working on complex files with multiple objects easier.
For example: If I have an object stacked somewhere between 100 other objects and need to edit it I can use selection groups.
How it works: Simply by selecting the object, press CTRL and 1 (The one above the alphabet keypad), you can repeat this process until you have 9 different selections.
To get back to the object all you need to do is press the corresponding #, for example 1-9.
You can also add objects to a group by pressing ALT + the number.
To Zoom into all of the objects in a Selection group, you just need to press the # twice.
Give it a try!
