Addons: Extending Application Functionality with VBA and VSTA

An addon is a plugin technology that allows the functionality of applications such as  CorelDRAW, Corel DESIGNER and Corel PHOTO-PAINT to be extended.   A custom addon can add a new tool to the application toolbox or introduce a new UI (user interface) element such as a  menu, toolbar, docker, dialog box,  or custom control.  The custom code that supports the new tool or UI element can interact with the host application using VSTA.
