If you happen to have a file that seems to take forever to open and save, you might try the following:- Open the Color Styles Docker (Windows/ Dockers / Color Styles) and remove all colors in the styles docker for the particular document. - Open the Views Manager (Window/ Dockers / View Manager (Ctrl+F2)) and delete all views stored in the docker for the document.- Once you clear out the views and color styles, make sure you click 'Save setting' as Default (Window / Save Settings as Default). Doing this will ensure the next time you start a new document, it will be free of any stored & saved views or colors.
Tip provided by Roger Wambolt, CorelDRAW team.
do not forget to delete all of Graphic and Text Styles and Symbols.
In the Color Styles Docker, it doesn't allow me to multiple select. I'll have to delete the thousands of styles one by one!
They were working on a macro here: coreldraw.com/.../23085.aspx
They also mentioned that after service pack 2 you can delete more than one at a time, is that not true?
Hi MT Studio,
In CorelDRAWX5 SP2 we added the ability to delete all color styles in a document. If someone opens the color styles docker, clicks the file name at the top of the docker and clicks the delete button (trash can) then all color styles will be deleted. Not sure if that gets you where you need to go, but hopefully it helps.
Hi John,
Some times Draw have problem related changing some object colors when try to click delete all button.
I prefer cut all of the document and paste another clear new document then save it.
