Many times when we scan our paper drawings, it might get a slightly yellow or blue tint via the scanner. There is a quick way of fixing this using Corel PHOTO-PAINT.

  1. Open the scanned Drawing
  2. Go to the menu: Adjust > Grayscale and drag the sliders to adjust the image to your liking.
  3. Alternatively create a Lens Object in Corel PHOTO-PAINT’s Object Manager Docker, to apply non-destructive effects. (Object > Create > New Lens).
  4. After using the Grayscale effect, use the Lens Object > Brightness-Contrast-Intensity, or the menu Adjust > Brightness-Contrast-Intensity.
  5. Important: see to that your image color mode is still RGB. If not, go the menu: Image > Convert to RGB Color (24-bit).  It´s important to be able to use the full arsenal of painting and colouring tools. So in case a scanned drawing has been scanned or converted to Grayscale in the process, convert back to RGB.
