CorelDRAW presents a very useful and handy feature when you send files in PDF format and you want the addressed person to access a particular website.
1. Select the text or object of your file; or the whole file, and go to:
Window > Dockers > Internet
2. Under ‘Behaviour’ select ‘Link’. 3. Type the hyperlink in to the “URL” field.
A grid with red hatching will be created over the text/object. (This will not appear in your final file). However, you can remove the red hatching in CorelDRAW by selecting “Cross-hatch” on the Internet docker and choosing No fill, by clicking on the ‘X’ (No color swatch). 4. To convert your file to PDF format, go to: File > Publish to PDF (Use the PDF settings required).
Testing the link: Open the PDF file and test the link by hovering with the mouse over the area where you created the link. Click on the link to be re-directed to the website. Tip provided by Silvio Gomes, CorelDRAW Master, Artist and Graphic Designer
