The new alignment guides in CorelDRAW X6 can help you align objects quickly with the existing artwork on your page. These temporary guidelines appear when you move, resize, or create objects in relation to nearby objects, letting you align the edges or centers of objects. Alignment guides are off by default so you need to click View > Alignment Guides to enable them.
You can customize alignment guides (View > Setup > Alignment Guides Setup) to suit your needs. For example, you can set margins so that alignment guides appear at a set distance from the edge of objects, and choose other options.
