I'm speccing up a new PC and I need to know whats currently good for running CorelDraw. I suspect Draw makes little or no use of GPU so a fast gaming card might be of little benefit.Nearly every PC i try Draw on suffers from page tearing when panning, so I need to know from users whether their graphics card does the same.
Can you please test your graphics capabilty for me?
Open a file with a mix of objects, no need for it to be overly complex or bitmap heavy.
Zoom in and then pan either using the mouse or use the 'N' key
Do you get smooth panning or does the display 'tear' as you pan?
If yours doesnt could you then tell me what graphics card model and memory you have and what processor you are running
Many thanks in advance.
I don't have much of an issue in panning, but I do have some issues with zooming out (slow - oddly seems to zoom in faster than zoom out) and I have big issues with select all objects (these are CDR with lots of AutoCAD lines hatching etc. I have to get a machine that will chew this stuff up, but mine is struggling. It was a good machine about 4-5 years ago but not so much anymore.
In panning their is some "tearing" I guess, but the screen is fully redrawn as quickly as I can get my mouse down to scroll again, so not bad.

In general, the internal or external graphic processor is relatively important for some things in the program, as shown to you in the above attachments
Check this
Notice when this command is triggered and at the time of execution, it comes enabled by default
Now notice how the processing time has increased after disabling it
Always use this mode, which comes enabled by default
I also advise you to use Windows version 10 with the latest update
