I used the vector tool on an image. When I try to use this image over a colored layer the letters that have closed parts like: Letter o,p,q,d,b,a,e. The inside of these letters are always white. How to make them leak? Thanks
I assume you mean that you have created these letters with one of the pen tools?Combining (Object > Combine) the inner "hole" with the outer curve should normally make these holes transparent.Could this be what you are looking for?If you have used PowerTrace on the image, it is possible that all holes are covered with white objects. In this case, select and delete the white ones.
I did it as follows. I took an image in jpeg format from a company and used the bitmap tracking tool. Worked perfectly. But the letters that I mentioned earlier are left with the inside blank when I put a colored background.
I'll add a print.
You have used PowerTRACE and there are white objects covering the holes.Select them and delete. If that doesn't work, select a white object first, then the surrounding blue object, and Combine them together. But don't do this before trying to delete the white parts first, or you will most likely get unexpected results (because there will then be two subcurves on top of each other).Another thing you can do is to select "Color from entire image" when tracing. You will find it on the Settings tab next to "Remove:" in the trace dialog. This will remove all white (background color) parts from the traced result.
