As in the video below.https://youtu.be/S4rhj6IHWHA
I have created two objects that are kind of rectangular.
When I try to join the two objects, there is always a faint white line between them. Even though theoretically they are joined.
Before you ask, I have already selected both objects and enabled "Object Hiting", but this annoying white line between the objects is still there.
Any solutions please?
One workaround is to create duplicates of the objects in the same locations as the original objects.
For more information about that, see comments from Hendrik Wagenaar in this thread: Annoying white lines in traced images.
This has been a reoccurring issue on my display that I'm now using which is a 4k ViewSonic at 1912% and under I see it, at 2050% and over I do not see it. If I convert it to bitmap it's there, if I print it to any device, it does not show up. Odd to say the least.

It has been this way for quite some time. In the thread to which I linked, Hendrik Wagenaar states plainly that it has to do with how CorelDRAW is doing the antialiasing, and explains a little bit about how it works.
If it involves objects with no outline and uniform fills - as one might get from tracing a bitmap - a common workaround is to apply a small outline to each object, and then set the color of the outline to be the same as the uniform fill color of each shape.
That won't work for the example in this thread where the fill is a gradient. So, duplicating the objects at the same locations is the more general workaround that might be used.
The weird thing is that I cannot print it. Certainly, the display is not confidence instilling.
I'm going to run postscript level 1, 2 and 3 separation tests and PDF tests at various levels.
Right now I' taking and editing stupid cat pictures, or I'm a stupid person taking taking cat pictures. I'll figure it out.
