Help! Quite suddenly, white is displaying as cream in any PDF generating from Coreldraw (2021). I haven't touched any settings but I did turn the PC off last night and assuming it's a Windows update. The PDF prints white but it makes things very difficult to check everything is as it should be before sending the document off for third party printing.
What application are you viewing the PDF in?
Hi David
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
This image better explains the problem
The image on the left is as the page appears in Coreldraw (2021). The righthand image is a pdf of the same page. The whole page background is RGB white yet shows cream. The areas in the bottom ad that are white (the roof and paintbrush) also have discoloured despite the whole ad being a bitmap.
Hope that may help
Colin
There has to be an issue with the background being set to print in Draw, also the PDF publishing process in Draw is incorrectly doing a conversion. I'm assuming the PDF is CMYK?
If Draw is functioning properly the above are the only possibilities, if the background is not set to print and or publish to PDF and the publish to PDF color setting are to native (assuming the file was created in the destination color spase) then CorelDRAW has been corrupted or a recent Windows update ha s screwed things up.
Thanks as always David.
The PDF is RGB not CMYK (I know commercial printers usually ask for CMYK but this lot prefer RGB and the output has always been fine).
I'm assuming it was a Windows update. As I said in my original post I haven't touched the settings and everthing was absolutely fine untill yesterday. I publish a lot to PDFs and have never had an issue like this before.
Also when I re-open the 'cream' PDF in Cdr the colour is correct. Moreso when I open the PDF in another programme (both Flip PDF and Serif Page Plus) everything is correct.
Do you know where I might amend settings in Acrobat or/and Windows?
