When I import PDF files with PNG images, the image is sometimes "cut up". What can I do against it? Does anyone else have this problem?
System Windows 11, Corel Draw Standard 2021
I get a lot of 3rd party pdf files that are this way. Yes, it happens only with raster images.I've had pretty good success by using the SelectSame macro. Select on raster piece then click on the SelectSame macro and choose to select by type then create bitmap. Like David said it's all in how the pdf was made. Certain settings, if not set right, will do it. I can say that I send many large files for print in pdf format that has both raster and vector elements and all the images stay complete.
I took a closer look at this phenomenon. It is NOT the same issue as I described above. I downloaded the pdf file in question from the link above. When I open the pdf in illustrator ,ew, I see that the shirt image on the right is a Non Native Art object. After rasterizing it and then saving as pdf it's good. If one didn't have illustrator you'd have to utilize any other method you have. The only other way I could get rid of the problem was to open it in my Acrobat Pro and use the "Flattener Preview" option and convert the fonts which also fixed the shirt image (probably some other settings within the flattener took care of it).
People using crap software! Alot of PDF publishers and viewers simply use the display data.
When will graphic designers learn? If you want to edit use good tools.
Here is how it opens in 2023 subscription
THX for answer. Have you Edit the File before open in Corel Draw 2023???
